Question by penguinbre: How to remove a broken wine cork stuck in the wine key.
The bottom of the cork broke off so the top of the cork is stuck in the top of the wine key. Note: It’s the kind of key with 2 “arms” on the side.
The type of key I have pulls the cork up into a cylinder-so since the top half broke off-it is stuck in the top compartment. Ex: www.creativewines.co.uk/img/wine-opener.jpg

If your consern is removing the cork from the cork screw then all you have to do is unscrew it by hand and toss it away. If you’re conserned about the rest of the cork that’s stuck in the bottle then I’d suggest trying the cork screw again and if it strips out then you can push the cork on in the bottle using a butter knife (or equivelant) You’ll have to fina another way to seal up the bottle or do like I would do…..finish it off……….
