  1. Can’t wait for this movie! Rosy going to be amazing, she may not say any thing in this trailer but she’s brillant! I can’t wait ’til December 4th!

  2. hey do u have the book..got it in the library..or somewhere else
I dont know if is safe 2 buy it online

  3. i agree with you!
people always go all crazy about this kind of movies and say that homosexual people are portrayed like crazy people..
if they watch the movie first, or read the book they understand what its really about.

  4. I don’t think so, I think that the way it’s more about obsession that actual love means that you don’t quite notice that it’s a same-sex ‘relationship’, there’s so much more going on that you don’t really stop to consider that fact. And besides, it’s not exactly the stereotype that same sex couple are insane and obsessive. (Damn, I’m awful at expressing myself sometimes.)

  5. I was an extra in this movie, It was shot in Ireland.
Juno & The girl who plays Fiamma are stunning in real life.
This movie was filmed about a year and a half ago, I’m surprised its only coming into cinemas now. I can’t wait to see it!

  6. i don’t know if you read the book, but its completely not about stereotyping homosexual people, its about obsession. miss G. in the book obsesses with Fiamma because she sees herself in Fiamma , She is everything she is not even though she says she is.

  7. i completely agree. movies like this just reinforce the bad stereotypes of gay people. complete bull.

  8. You’re very welcome! Definitely start with The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie first – it’s the most similar to Cracks (at least book-wise). I’m not sure if this is based off a true story – Sheila Kohler’s novel upon which the movie is based does seem to have some elements of fact rather than fiction, but, as the novel is classified as fiction, I’d have to say that it is not a true story.

  9. I know its based on a book by the same name by Sheila Kohler but I`m not sure is its based on real life events. Heavenly Creatures was based on the real Parker-Hulme murder case, I know.
    This looks awesome!

  10. wow, interesting tidbit stsgirlie, thanks! i`ve seen lord of the flies but not the other two. maybe i`ll see those before this comes out.
one more question, is this based off a true story?
